2018 Porsche 911 comes in many flavors
The 2018 Porsche 911 is available in many trims, styles and options. From the base trim, Carrera, to the top-tier GT3, there is truly something for everyone. Within all these trims there are a pair of convertible options, Cabriolet and Targa, as well as options for all-wheel drive and sport. Those are designated as "4" and "S," respectively.
If that feels overwhelming, know that you can't get a bad 911. The Carrera provides 370 horsepower and can go from 0-60 mph quicker than 4 seconds thanks to its 3.0-liter, twin-turbo, flat-six engine. Opting for the GT3 gets you 500 horsepower and a non-turbocharged, 4.0-liter engine.
Technology may be the 911's weakness. Apple CarPlay® comes standard, but not Android Auto™, and the integration of Apple CarPlay® is a bit disappointing. But those flaws aren't dealbreakers if you're looking for a spirited driving experience and a premium interior.

What We Like
Driving: The 911 is a standout performer whether you're hitting the open road or driving around town. Porsche's dual-clutch transmission is one of the best in the business and its acceleration from any speed is seamless.
Comfort: Great seats are the starting point for one of the most comfortable sports cars you can buy. The sporty suspension is firm but doesn't beat you up over long drives, and there's plenty of legroom in the front two seats.
Interior: The interior is high quality and the driving position is excellent. There's plenty of headroom in the front seats. While rear seats are small, most competitors don't offer them.
What Needs Improvement
Tech: Smartphone integration isn't quite as good as competitors. Apple CarPlay® comes standard, but it can take a few tries to get it to connect, and Android Auto™ isn't included at all. The default infotainment is not very intuitive and can be challenging to use.
