- The Impreza is available in a variety of new trims, including the 2.0I, 2.0I Limited, 2.0I Premium, 2.0I Sport Limited, and 2.0I Sport Premium.
- The 2.5I, 2.5I Premium, and Outback trims have been discontinued for 2012.
- Impreza trims have been upgraded with Automatic Transmission as standard equipment this year.
