5 reasons to buy the 2019 Hyundai Elantra
1. A trunk designed to read your mind

Or maybe it simply detects your key fob in your hand, pocket, or purse as you approach your 2019 Hyundai Elantra's Smart Trunk. You don't have to wave a magic wand; all you have to do is stand behind the vehicle with your fob in close proximity and the trunk will open. Abracadabra! Your Elantra has the ability to be an extra hand when yours are full. Starting with the Value trim and up, the Hands-Free Smart Trunk is activated through the 2019 Elantra's system settings menu. As you approach the rear of the vehicle, it starts to beep. If you remain there, the trunk opens after the fourth beep. It's also designed to prevent accidental openings; the fob must be away from the Elantra for over 15 seconds for it to release.
2. Lots of tech

No slouch in the technology department, Hyundai offers upgrades with each model, starting with a generous package in the base 2019 Elantra. A rearview camera is standard on all trim levels of the 2019 Hyundai Elantra, as are a five-inch infotainment display and Bluetooth® phone connectivity. In the higher grades, wireless device charging and an eight-inch infotainment display are included. All trims except the SE base model give you forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot and rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-keeping assist. Hyundai's drowsy driver warning system is included with the SEL trim and higher to make sure you're alert and paying attention.
3. Options for all

There are a bundled number of smart packages in each trim level of the 2019 Elantra, starting with a generous base model in the SE. Step up to the SEL and you add smartphone integration, drive modes, and auto headlights. Keep working your way to the higher trim levels and your 2019 Elantra will include a leather interior, power driver seat with lumbar support, wireless charging, and more at the Limited grade. Even better, an Ultimate package on a Limited trim includes navigation, power sunroof, adaptive cruise control, and more. If you want a sleek and nimble vehicle, the Sport model adds to the Limited with a flat-bottom leather-wrapped steering wheel, distinctive wheels, and a multi-link rear suspension for more responsive handling.
4. The sport model ups the game

The 2019 Hyundai Elantra Sport is available with an automatic or zippy manual transmission. This model boasts a turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder engine generating 201 horsepower, which is plenty for a spirited ride. Bringing up the rear is a new suspension for 2019 with firmer tuning, stylish 18-inch wheels, and chrome accents for extra shine. The Sport trim also includes a racing-reminiscent flat-bottomed steering wheel and sleek leather front sport seats. Add the optional Sport Premium package to your 2019 Elantra to get navigation, premium audio, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, dual-zone automatic climate control, and more.
5. Hatchback heaven

Do you like hatchbacks? The 2019 Hyundai Elantra is available in the Elantra GT hatchback and the Elantra GT N Line. The N Line, which comes with a 201-horsepower 1.6L turbocharged engine, gives its owners an EPA-estimated 26 mpg combined with the manual transmission.
The Hyundai Elantra GT Hatchback has a 2.0L engine running with 161 horsepower. If you like the versatility and cargo space (121.4 cubic feet total volume for each trim level) of a hatchback, the Elantra has you covered with two terrific options.Similar vehicles
