2009 BMW M3Chris Robinson - San Diego, CA12/01/2011
This is my third M3, I've owned the e36, e46 & now the e92. This is one amazing vehicle, everything from the comfort, build quality and of course the phenomenal performance. I would highly recommend the DCT tranny, it always keeps you in the sweet spot with seamless rev-matched up-shifts, five levels of shift hardness + launch control ;) its the only way to fly (and trust me its a thousand times better than the previous clunky SMG box).
It's An M3.... Need I say more?

It's fast, it's fun, and the sound of the V8 is intoxicating. Traded up from a 335i and the M3 is a totally different machine.
BMW M3 - Race car in disguise
2005 BMW M3Jeff - Del Rio, TX08/09/2008
Make no mistake, this is a purebred race car that also happens to have some very nice amenities to appeal to the luxury buyer. My M3 has the SMG sequential transmission, and it is probably the single coolest feature of the car. Yes, you could buy the 6-speed and spend hours and hours of track time building your skills and eventually become an expert at heel-toe, double-clutching, and smooth downshift RPM matching, but the SMG does it all for you. In fact, it does it better than any human being can... both faster and more smoothly, without detracting from the fun of driving at all. Overall, the car has a solid suspension, unending power, one really mean look, and an obviously high level of attention to detail with the quality of components. The only menial gripe I have is that the leather seats, while very comfortable, could stand to have perforated leather instead of solid to keep the seats a bit cooler in the summer. If you get this car, yes you will get owned by a ZO-6 off the line, but you're getting owned with more style and class than any corvette. I would sell my house and at least one kidney before selling my M3.
