I bought the trailblazer 2 months ago and couldn't be more pleased. I was looking for a vehicle that I could use to tow my boat and go on family vacations. I was driving a 1998 Honda Passport wirth 183k miles on it. The trailblazer had the same cargo capacity as the Passport so I was satisfied with that. Another issue I was concerned with was the acceleration or fun factor. I bought the Passport becasue it had great acceleration when so many other SUV's drove like an old station wagon. THe trialblazer has that same acceleration I loved in the Passport. Further it can tow twice as much(6,000 lbs). All Trailblazers (I found) came with a tow hitch. I researched many other vehicles and found that most require a transmission cooler (and some need a power steering cooler), which will cost you an additional $1500-$2000 if you want to add a tow hitch. No so with the trailblazer, it has a very large transmission fluid capacity so it needs no additional cooling. I've taken the boat (3000 lbs)back and forth to Ocean City (about 6 hours round trip) and found that although I have 4 wheel drive, practically the entire trip I kept it in 2 wheel drive with no strain on the engine. I almost bought the 2006 Acura MDX which would have cost $6k more, but found the website was incorrect - no installed tow hitch- and the Acura requires both coolers...
Now I;ve told my wife that since the car can tow twice as much, I need to buy a bigger boat!

We traded two vehicles in decided one car is all we would reguire.
My husband dosent drive and I do. I love the trailblazer. Its like a
truck and luxury car all rolled into one.And surprizeingly its
easy to handle and easy to park.It is also easy to get out of the parking
space. It has a sun roof I just love it.The car is worth the money and I am happy with it.

Nice vehicle - comfortable, good power for a V6, tows well. The exterior could use a little more flare as it's rather boring, but not bad. Rides surprisingly well for a truck.
